This weekend Tanner sent me the 808s and Heartbreak album and I have to say that it was very.... interesting. I really liked a few of the songs, but overall the mood of the album is depressing! I'll let you judge for yourself when you hear the album... and if you can't wait to hear it, you can email me and I'll send you the rough copy that I heard.
Anyway, I know that everybody has heard "Love Lockdown" which I personally love... probably because of the the video more than the song. I was surfing the web this weekend and ran across this blog post that I had to share with you. Noetik posted a video for a "Gummy Bear Song" that has the exact same melody as "Love Lockdown"!
Do you think that Kanye ripped off a gummy bear song? Or is it just an artistic coincidence? Either way, I think its pretty funny...

ReplyDeleteas for the other tracks that i have heard from the album...i'm not impressed...the album to me seems/sounds very monotone. does he have to use the auto-tuner on every song?
@kid - yes he does...he can not sing so he has to make it sound half decent

well if they chop and screw it then i will probably listen to it....any R&B for that matter

ReplyDeletethe other vid, i cant seem to find, but it's of him a couple years ago SCREAMING and acting the ass because daft punk won the award for best vid @ the mtv european music awards. this was before "stronger", and before he even knew who they were. then the muhfucker turned around and sampled "harder better faster stronger". imma try to find the vid for u to see.
