Listening to this speech always takes me back to the invincibility I felt as a little girl when I first discovered the brilliance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I don't remember how old I was, but I remember feeling like I was princess of the world and that the strength of everyone who came before me lay within my little self. Thank you Dr. King! For inspiring a nation, for sacrificing your life for the greater good and for giving my little Black girl self immeasurable hope!
