7 letting go

I saw this and I felt like it was speaking directly to me. I'll be honest with you all, since the high I felt when I started my company earlier this month, I've been kind of floating along not really maximizing on the momentum. I have a lot of great things going on in my life but for some reason, I'm having trouble being PRESENT for it all. I guess you could say I have a bad case of "shoulda, coulda, woulda's"... Hoping it will pass soon!

  1. i love this quote, and am familiar with the shoulda, coulda, wouldas, unfortunately. it will pass--like you said, focus on all of the great stuff you have going on, and the opportunity to make it even better everyday. maximizing on momentum can be quite tiresome sometimes.

sending positive vibes your way today, since i now know what you have to deal with! :)

  2. Thanks for the inspiring words, Nikki!

  3. Honey you are singing to the choir! But simply keep moving forward if only baby steps, move. Keep it up sis!

  4. Great quote girl! You are the best. I loved seeing you last night!

  5. I've had to learn this myself over the past few years. I started freaking out a few years ago because my boyfriend and I have been together since I was 20 (I turn 27 in a few weeks). When I was younger I always imagined dating around a lot during my 20s and maybe getting married around 30 or something. This is totally not what I expected - falling in love with one of the first guys I seriously dated and staying together for a long time. I got commitment phobic for awhile there! But then I realized it's stupid to live your life based on what you thought would happen in the future, instead of living for what is making you happy RIGHT NOW. Plan for the future, yes, but don't let those plans make you closed off to better, unexpected things to come!

  6. Dayka >> They always creep up on me - I need to find a better method for shaking them! So glad we got to chat last night!

Genna >> You're very welcome! Great seeing you last night too :)

Tina >> Thanks Tina! That means a lot coming from you!

This Photo >> I love this quote - thinking of printing it off for my vision board!

Mallory >> I can relate to your story in many ways! And yes, being open to new things is important.

  7. don't worry girl, it happens to the best of us. i'm actually in the same boat. i was so amped to get to NY and now that i'm here i'm all stressed out. my vibes have been all over the place. but things always get better. i've found it's better for me to acknowledge and accept what i'm feeling instead of trying to repress and deny. the highs always come back and when they do they last (at least longer :)

Tell me what you think! I love your comments.
