ninety day plan

Yesterday a friend of mine said to me, "So... you've started your company; What's your 90 day plan?" When faced with the question, immediately I was stumped. I quickly whipped out a pen a pad and started to write down what I wanted to do in some sort of timeline. I realized, within the conversation, I have become so focused on overcoming percieved obstacles that I'd forgotten one crucial step: creating goals.

Yes, as a professional, it's crucial to anticipate and navigate around points of resistance. But it's also imperative that we create short and long term goals to work towards. Without them, where do you place your focus?

I was so thankful that she brought this to my attention, so I'm doing the same for you. What's your 90 day plan? Everybody has something that they are working towards, whether it be personal or career wise and it's important to remember what you're working toward as you make those baby steps day after day. How much time does it really take to achieve your goals? Are you putting forth the best and most effort you can? What are you doing that's really not working? It's so important to self edit.

I'm going to really take some time to envision where I want my company to be in 90 days and create a plan for how to get there. I'm dreaming big! You should too.
