Digging these digital paintings from Philadelphia-based artist illadelphsouL. I love the layering of texture and the depth of color. Amazing that you can develop this on a computer, right?
This week has been a whirlwind & I can't believe that Thanksgiving is NEXT week. Geez! Where did the month go? I'm looking forward to the holidays but it seems like the days leading up to them are speeding by.
I took a few minutes to re-watch this speech given by Lauryn Hill to a group of high school students when she was just 25 years old. It's such a great reminder to stay true to yourself and remember where your strength comes from. This speech is FULL of gems. Perfect quotes to hold on to! As you start your weekend, take a moment to listen and carry them with you.
The country girl in me loves these mixed media pieces from artist Michelle Peterson-Albandoz. She uses 2 x 4s to create these rhythmic abstracts that would command the center of attention in any space. I love the idea of repurposing old wood too!
Happy Monday folk! Yesterday Claire and I checked out Scott Antique Market in South Atlanta. The weather was perfect and there was so much great stuff to see! I walked a way with a few pieces of jewelry but saw soo many drool worthy things!
Me, with a pillow I so wanted to take home!
Claire checking out this amazing handmade mirror...
Two adorable chairs and a gorgeous headboard...
Just some of the many cool lamps we saw. I actually own one just like that cork lamp! You can see it here...
And I fell in love with this gilded baby grand piano... The detail was amazing!
How was your weekend? Do share! If you've never been to Scott's, it's every second weekend of the month. Maybe we should do a SBP group trip? ;)
Confession: I've been dancing around my studio by myself to this song for a couple of weeks now. I'm in love with Elle's voice and the song is too cute! The video is a perfect visual for the song; bright colors & fun prints fill the shots from start to finish.
Love the painted bricks on the wall & that IKEA rug!
J.Cole's solo scene starts off with him in front of this great 70's inspired Graham & Brown wallpaper. I recognized it immediately! If you love it, you can purchase it here.
I think we're going to see a lot more of Elle next year!
